MNTR APPLICATIONS FOR 2026

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

  • The August 2026 mentorship programme starts on 1st August and ends on 29th November 2026. 

    • The total cost of the mentorship is £2500.

    • A deposit of £100 will be required to secure your place.

    • Theory sessions held on Zoom

    • In-person practical training days

    • Weekly challenges and homework with ongoing feedback

    • Access to a mentee-only WhatsApp support group

    • Opportunities to work with client dogs where appropriate

    • All in-person days will take place at MNTR’s dedicated training facility in Reading, postcode RG10 0QQ

    • You must be open minded towards the use of all tools and methods used in dog training.

    • This course is designed as a learning experience and a stepping stone in your career, this does not guarantee you a qualification.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • August 2026 Intake

    This Mentorship Programme Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between MNTR, operated by The K9 Archive Ltd (“the Provider”), and the undersigned participant (“the Mentee”).

    By submitting an application, paying a deposit, or attending any part of the programme, the Mentee agrees to be bound by the terms set out below.

    1. Programme Overview

    1.1 The MNTR August 2026 Mentorship Programme runs from 1st August to 29th November 2026.

    1.2 The programme consists of:

    • Scheduled Zoom theory sessions

    • In-person practical training days

    • Weekly challenges and homework with ongoing feedback

    • Access to a mentee-only WhatsApp support group

    • Opportunities to work with client dogs where appropriate

    1.3 This programme is designed as an educational mentorship and career stepping stone and does not guarantee a qualification, certification, or employment.

    2. Schedule & Attendance

    2.1 The welcome Zoom call will take place on 28th July at 7:00pm.

    2.2 All Zoom calls (excluding the welcome call) will take place on Tuesdays at 7:00pm.

    2.3 In-person and Zoom session dates are provided in advance. MNTR reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the schedule where necessary.

    2.4 Missed sessions, whether virtual or in-person, are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

    3. Fees & Payment Terms

    3.1 The total cost of the full mentorship programme is £2,500.

    3.2 A £100 deposit is required to secure a place on the programme and must be paid by 1st July 2026.

    This deposit is non-refundable, as mentorship places are limited and are held exclusively once booked.

    3.3 The remaining balance may be:

    • Paid in full, or

    • Paid via monthly instalments, with:

    • First payment due 27th July 2026

    • Subsequent payments due on the 1st of each month until November 2026

    3.4 A virtual-only option is available at a cost of £1,250, which includes Zoom sessions, challenges, and assignments only.

    Cash payments are also accepted.

    3.6 Failure to make payment within 30 days of the due date may result in further action, including recovery costs.

    3.7 The Mentee may leave the programme at any time; however, all outstanding payments remain due in full.

    3.8 Virtual-Only Participation in In-Person Training Days

    3.8.1 Mentees enrolled on the virtual-only option may request to attend individual in-person training days at a cost of £100 per in-person day.

    3.8.2 Attendance at in-person training days by virtual-only mentees is subject to availability and prior approval by MNTR.

    3.8.3 This option is intended for occasional attendance only. MNTR reserves the right to limit the number of in-person training days a virtual-only mentee may attend.

    3.8.4 Virtual-only mentees may not attend all in-person training days by paying the per-day rate where doing so would result in a total cost lower than the full mentorship programme fee.

    3.8.5 Payment for any approved in-person training day must be made in advance and is non-refundable.

    4. Use of Information & Confidentiality

    4.1 All course materials, discussions, demonstrations, and virtual content are confidential and provided solely for the Mentee’s personal educational use.

    4.2 Recording, sharing, or distributing any programme content to third parties is strictly prohibited.

    5. Conduct, Dogs & Suitability

    5.1 Mentees must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.

    5.2 Dogs attending in-person sessions must be fit, healthy, and free from contagious illness.

    5.3 If a dog is deemed unsafe, excessively disruptive, or fully out of control, MNTR reserves the right to require the dog to be put away for part or all of a session.

    5.4 MNTR reserves the right to refuse or remove any dog or mentee from a session or the programme if safety or welfare is compromised.

    5.5 Virtual-only mentees attending in-person training days are subject to all conduct, safety, and participation requirements outlined in this Agreement.

    6. Tools, Methods & Equipment

    6.1 The Mentee acknowledges that MNTR uses a variety of training tools and methods and agrees to approach the programme with an open mind.

    6.2 Any equipment used by the Mentee is done so at their own risk, unless provided and directly supervised by MNTR.

    7. Non-Solicitation

    7.1 Any existing or future clients of MNTR must not be approached for business by the Mentee at any time before, during, or after the mentorship programme, unless expressly authorised in writing by MNTR.

    8. Media Release

    8.1 The Mentee grants permission for MNTR to use photographs and video footage of the Mentee and their dog(s) taken during the programme for use on websites, social media, and marketing materials.

    9. Liability & Assumption of Risk

    9.1 Dog training involves inherent risks. The Mentee accepts full responsibility for their own safety and the safety of their dog(s).

    9.2 MNTR, its trainers, and representatives accept no liability for loss, injury, or damage to persons, dogs, or property while attending sessions or following guidance provided.

    10. Termination

    10.1 MNTR reserves the right to terminate a mentee’s participation without refund where termination is due to breach of this Agreement, safety concerns, non-payment, or conduct deemed inappropriate or unprofessional.

    11. Programme Changes

    11.1 MNTR reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, guest speakers, dates, or delivery format where required.

    Any such changes will not materially reduce the overall value of the programme.

    12. Agreement & Acceptance

    12.1 By submitting an application, paying a deposit, or participating in any part of the MNTR Mentorship Programme, the Mentee confirms they have read, understood, and agree to this Agreement in full.
